13 March 2018 Mikhailov & Partners Senior External Affairs Manager Maria Markova Speaks about Managing Communication Projects

On 9th-11th March, as part of the 21st Century Leaders education programme held from 1st to 22nd March at the Orlenok children’s centre in Krasnodar Region, Maria Markova, Senior External Affairs Manager at Mikhailov & Partners Strategic Communications, gave a series of master classes in communications for school students who have reached the finals of the “Russian School Pupils Movement - Territory of Self-Administration” competition.

“For Mikhailov & Partners it’s extremely important to identify and support young talents who will join the ranks of communications industry professionals in the future. During the master classes we looked at examples of communication challenges faced by the participants in their school self-administration projects and devised comprehensive solutions for each case. I would like to wish the contestants success in everything they do and hope that our joint work will make a worthy contribution to implementing the boldest ideas”, said Ms Markova.

Organised by the Russian School Pupils Movement, the Russian Child and Youth Centre and the Russian Union of Youth, the national forum Russian School Pupils Movement – Territory of Self-Administration brings together around 500 leaders and activists from children’s associations who have devised best practices in the development of school self-administration, including projects to create RSPM Homes, to build sports facilities in school grounds, to upgrade rural bus stops, and to provide help to physically challenged children. As part of the Leaders of the 21st Century Leaders training course, the teenagers attended master classes and interactive lessons on developing organisational and leadership skills, including in the field of The Media and PR.
