26 June 2017 Mikhailov & Partners Supports IV Annual Russian Energy Forum in London
Mikhailov & Partners. Strategic Communications has acted as the official communications partner of the IV Annual Russian Energy Forum, which was held on 22nd June 2017 in London, UK.

The Forum in London is a major European event and a unique platform for dialogue between energy companies from Russia and other countries. It is organized by Eurasian Dynamics Ltd with support from the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce, the Russian Trade Representation in the United Kingdom and the European Business Association. 
Ellen Pinchuk, Deputy CEO of Mikhailov & Partners, moderated the Forum’s Finance and Investment section, which brought together heads of major Russian and foreign banks and financial organizations.

Taking part in the Forum were around 100 senior executives from energy, oil & gas, finance and technology companies, government officials and numerous invited guests from 15 countries, as well as approximately  20 journalists from the Russian and foreign media.
The Forum demonstrated the high level  of interest among Russian companies in working with the global business community in various spheres of the economy, while the most critical and topical issues impacting the business climate in Europe and the Asia Pacific markets were reflected in vigorous debates between the speakers and delegates.
The Forum’s business events involved representatives of Japanese and Korean government ministries and major companies such as NOVATEK, NORD STREAM 2, International Energy Forum, Gazprombank, Total, BP, Korea Carbon Market Assoсiation, KPMG, Schneider Electric, Bank of China, ACG Amur Capital Group, Dentons and others.
The Forum was opened by welcoming remarks from Lord Barker, member of the House of Lords, former UK energy minister and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Lydus Partners, Trevor Barton, Executive Director of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce, Gregory Stoupnitzky, Managing Director of CIS Capital LLC, and Boris Abramov, Russia’s Trade Representative in the UK.

The business programme of the IV Russian Energy Forum included 5 sessions focusing on:
How international partners see the Russian energy market;
Russian oil and gas supplies to international markets;
LNG prospects on the global market;
Development of power generation in Russia from renewable energy sources and smart power supply grids;
Investment potential of the energy sector in Russia and the CIS.
